The time has come for all Aboriginal people to state where they stand on these issues. We are against mining and developments. Are we the only blackfellas who feel this way or are there others who feel the same?

The National Aboriginal Alliance represents the voice of the Aboriginal Peoples of Australia. This message is made on behalf of the people who are committing themselves to the National Aboriginal Alliance and who are prepared to share a vision of a future for Australia's Indigenous Peoples.
The National Aboriginal Alliance is taking its concerns about the Northern Territory intervention to the United Nations.
A delegation leaves today for the annual UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues in New York.
Delegation Leader Les Malezer says parts of the intervention, like income management, breach United Nations charters on racial discrimination and human rights.
Calling all Aboriginal people and supporters to converge on Canberra:

Lets really try to join together in the fight against
child abuse. Yes there are problems for aboriginal people
addressing this shocking problem within our own communities but we need to act. What good is a broken
human being to the future of our cultures? We need strong kids to bring our cultures into the future. without strong kids
there will be no strong cultures for the future.
